Luminext has many years of experience integrating third-party smart-lighting controllers. As an advocate of open standards, we continue to focus on creating integrations that are future-proof, reliable, and easy to manage. That’s why we are pleased to announce that our integration with Exedra controllers is now fully based on the TALQ protocol.
Integrating according to the TALQ standard
An integration based on the TALQ protocol enables a more uniform and efficient way to connect smart-lighting controllers to Luminizer. This makes implementation easier, reduces the need for custom solutions, and contributes to a stable, manageable, and well-maintainable integration.
Luminizer is officially TALQ CMS certified, which means we can integrate controllers from various suppliers according to this international standard. Thanks to this certification, municipalities can rely on dependable interoperability within their smart-lighting infrastructure.
Municipality of Nieuwkoop: first TALQ integration with Exedra
The municipality of Nieuwkoop has the primeur: they are the first municipality to use the new TALQ integration between the installed Exedra controllers and Luminizer. Within Luminizer, the municipality manages all public-lighting assets, contractors process work orders, and the smart lighting is centrally controlled and monitored.
With this step, Nieuwkoop takes an important stride toward future-proof public lighting and makes optimal use of the benefits offered by a standardized smart-lighting infrastructure.
