During this event, around 120 ethical hackers from the Netherlands and abroad tried to hack the digital systems of the Municipality of The Hague.<\/p><p>Both our Luminizer software (IT) and our smart lighting infrastructure in the field (OT) were tested.<\/p><h2><strong>The result? No successful breaches.<\/strong><\/h2><p>For us, it is important not only to demonstrate security on paper, but also to put it to the test in practice. In the end, the key question is simple: can hackers actually get in, and if they do, what can they do?<\/p><p>This is becoming increasingly important. Smart public lighting is now part of a digital network and therefore needs to be properly secured. NIS2 also places increasing emphasis on cybersecurity, risk management and the security of digital systems and networks.<\/p><h2 dir=\"auto\" data-section-id=\"14w1rz0\" data-start=\"1209\" data-end=\"1232\"><strong>Security at Luminext<\/strong><\/h2><ul><li dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"1234\" data-end=\"1279\"><strong data-start=\"1234\" data-end=\"1256\">ISO\/IEC 27001:2022\u00a0<\/strong>Information security<\/li><li dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"1281\" data-end=\"1319\"><strong data-start=\"1281\" data-end=\"1298\">ISO 9001:2015\u00a0<\/strong>Quality management<\/li><li dir=\"auto\" data-start=\"1321\" data-end=\"1370\"><strong data-start=\"1321\" data-end=\"1335\">EU hosting\u00a0<\/strong>Cloud data remains within Europe<\/li><\/ul><p>Thanks to the H\u00e2ck the Hague organisation and all the ethical hackers who tested our systems.
